Q. Do I need to have a home loans background?

A. Not necessarily.  Whilst a background in home loans is generally not essential, you may have substantial experience in the finance or sales sector (subject to State specific requirements).

Q. Can I open a RAMS branded shop?

A. Yes you can.  In fact RAMS requires you to open your first RAMS Home Loans Centre within 12 months of becoming a Franchisee.

Q. How much initial capital is required?

A. The average initial capital required for the initial franchise term is estimated at approximately $175,000 - $250,000 however this will vary from marketing area to marketing area.

Q. How long does the franchise approval process take?

The end-to-end franchisee recruitment process can take anywhere from 1 to 3 months.

Q. Can I do my own advertising?

A. Yes you can.  RAMS has a widespread advertising program however we also provide a range of marketing tools and advertising templates to help you build a strong presence - and local leads - within your local community. You must meet a set minimum marketing spend each year and all marketing material is required to be approved by the RAMS marketing team.
